Nightly Routine

This is a great picture of how our nightly bedtime routine goes. We say prayers, Jared reads a book to Dexter (currently Charlotte's Webb) and I take Evelyn out and read to her. After reading time is done we meet on Dexter's bed to give kisses before turning off the lights.

Waking up Happy

This is how my little girl wakes up each morning.... with a big smile on her face. Yes it probably helps that she sleeps through the night, but she is always happy when her little eyes open up. This simple act helps to remind me that the first step to a happy day is a smile.

Hair Accessories!

I have been resisting the impulse to put things in Evelyn's hair... but as of today I just couldn't resist any further. So.. I went to Saturday market and bought her some accessories and I love.. love love them. And I better love them because I spent more on them then I did on my last hair cut. Here is my favorite. I think I need to learn how to make the attachment bows to save money!

Well everyone keeps on telling me that Dexter and Evelyn look exactly the same, and I have come the conclusion that they are right. Decide for yourself!
